Find out how you can clone the content of one Task into a new Task to save time.
If you will be working on Tasks that are similar to ones that you have previously completed, you can clone them to save some time. Did you know that since cloning Tasks saves time, the effort of managing risk in the workplace can be reduced by up to 85%? Note that the process is similar on the mobile app.
How to clone Tasks:
- Click on the Home page
- If you see the Task on the Home page, click on it. If you can't find the Task you are looking for, click on the progress bar to view a complete list of the Tasks assigned to you and, if necessary, narrow your search by filtering the results
- Click on the menu in the top-right corner
- Click on “Clone”
- Confirm the action by clicking on “Clone” when the pop-up appears
- The cloned Task will have the word “CLONE” in the description and the date will be removed
- Edit any of the sections of the Task to reflect your new Task
- Click on "Save" in the top-right corner once you have made all of the changes necessary
💡 Note that the cloning action clones almost everything from the original Task, including Risk Assessments and Isolations. However, if there is a Risk Assessment, you will have to complete it immediately upon saving the Task.
