Find out how you can configure the activities, hazards, and controls in a Risk Assessment.
If your role has been given permission, you can access the "Activities, Hazards, and Controls" settings on the Company page. Use it to adjust the properties available during a Risk Assessment. Find out how to make changes. Note that the process is similar on the mobile app.

How to make changes in the "Activities, Hazards, and Controls" settings.
- Navigate to the menu and click on your Company page
- Select "Activities, Hazards, and Controls"
- To add activities, hazards, or controls, select the correct property at the top of the page and then click on “Add _____” in the top-right corner
- Add a name
- Fill in a description, if necessary
- Click on “Add” in the top-right corner
- To edit activities, hazards, or controls, select the correct property at the top of the page, make a selection from the list, and click on “Edit” in the top-right corner. If you can't find the property you are looking for, click on “Filter” in the top-right corner of the list and narrow the result by status
- Edit the name or description by clicking on either section
- If you are editing an activity, you can add hazards that are related to the activity by clicking on “Add a hazard”, making a selection, and choosing the likelihood from the list
- To edit a hazard, click on the menu on the right-hand side, select “Edit”, and choose the likelihood from the list
- To remove a hazard, click on the menu on the right-hand side and select “Remove”
- If you are editing a hazard, you can:
- Edit the level of impact by clicking on “Impact” and making a selection from the list
- Add controls that are related to the hazard by clicking on “Add a control”, making a selection, toggling the button on if the control is required, and choosing how much the control reduces the impact of the hazard from the list
- Edit controls by clicking on the menu on the right-hand side, selecting “Edit”, toggling the button on if the control is required, and choosing how much the control reduces the impact of the hazard from the list
- Remove controls by clicking on the menu on the right-hand side and selecting “Remove”
- Click on “Archive _____” at the bottom of the page and confirm the action by clicking on "Archive" when the pop-up box appears to archive the activity, hazard, or control
- Once you’ve made all applicable changes, click on “Verify” in the top-right corner
💡 Note that the activities, hazards, and controls that are marked as "Unverified" are those that have been created during a Risk Assessment. To verify the property, select it, click on "Edit" in the top-right corner, and click on “Verify” in the top-right corner.
